Input on DESE’s Academic Vision

Enlisting Families, Educators, Students and Community Members to give input on DESE’s Academic Vision

Earlier this year, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) began updating its vision for the student learning experience for kids across Massachusetts. Now we need your help with our next steps.

In the evenings (5:00 to 6:30pm) of November 1 and 2, 2022, DESE is holding online feedback sessions to refine our ideas for this vision.  Input and feedback improve the quality of our work, we are hoping you will distribute the flyers below to parents, educators, families and caregivers, students, and other community members within your networks to solicit participation in these sessions. Selected participants will provide feedback on our ideas and help make our vision statement more concrete and relevant.

Please see the linked Academic Vision Stakeholder Feedback Session flyers for more details. We invite you to share these flyers with your networks. The flyers are linked in seven languages for ease of sharing.  Thank you in advance for all your partnership and support.
