Join the Celebration: Bridge Lighting & Fun

On Oct 1st, 2022 a proclamation was signed by Governor Charles D. Baker distinguishing the month of October 2022 as Dyslexia Awareness Month.

To mark this important event, IDA-MA and Decoding Dyslexia of Massachusetts will be co-hosting a free family fun event in Boston at Paul Revere park on Saturday October 22nd. To honor this month as Dyslexia Awareness Month, the Zakim Bridge will light up in Red that evening! Our outdoor event will be right next to the Bridge, so we can see the lights! All are encouraged to wear red to signify your support for dyslexia awareness.

Time: 3-6pm

Where: Paul Revere Park (under the Zakim Bridge on the MGHIHP side of the Charles River)

Activities/Games for Kids: Giant Genga, Giant Connect Four, Corn Hole, Kids Books + Adult Books Raffle, Painting Rocks for Dyslexia Awareness, Dyslexia Books Table

At 6pm the Bridge will light up!!
