Social Anxiety and Adolescents

Presentation: "Social Anxiety and Adolescents"

Wednesday, October 19

6:30pm - 7:30pm

Social anxiety is a common experience during the teenage years, and can be even more common (and complex!) for young people who process social situations differently. Lurie Center for Autism invites you to join Emily Hartnett, PhD and Nora Friedman, MD for a discussion about social anxiety in adolescents on the autism spectrum. We will explore how social phobia presents, as well as behavioral strategies and medication considerations for managing symptoms. Register here.
